Hiking in Lofoten

(c) EO, Vindstad - (c) EO, Vindstad
Hiking in the Lofoten Islands is possible for everybody! You can find trips suiting families, seniors and also the ones searching for the highest peaks.
The weather changes rapidly in Lofoten, so it is a good idea to study the weather forecast before hiking. Warm clothes is recommended, especially on longer trips. For more information about hiking suggestions, please see the left menu.

This website offers good descriptions of hikes:  www.godtur.no (some of the hikes are described in English, and there are more to come - a continuous process).

Lofoten Turlag can also offer you more information about longer trips at the Norwegian Trekking Association. www.turistforeningen.no/english/
